About the Immigrant Rights Movement
The Immigrant Rights Movement is consisting of organizations that work to improve the life and work conditions of immigrants in the United States. According to the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), the Immigrant Rights Project is trying to enforce civil rights and civil liberties to combat public and private discrimination against immigrants.

- Unlawful detention of immigrants- here immigrants experience brutal, inhumane conditions.
- ICE and Border Patrol Abuses- there have been immigrant rights violated due to ICE removal tactics, this has caused immigrants to lose their right to a fair trial.
- The road to citizenship has become hazardous because immigrants because workers and those who contribute positively to the United States are having their rights violated.
- There are unlawful deportations and detentions are occurring. The government has the burden of proof to show that detention is necessary.
